When I started blogging 13 years back it all started on a free account provided by WordPress.com. Unlimited posts at that point in time, it was all an engineering student needed. Though Blogger was launched at that time but it lacked the feel WordPress offered. Also, WordPress had the best set of plugins at that point in time.
After writing for a healthy 4 years I stopped blogging altogether. Call it the stress of the IT corporate or just the general laziness after working long hours in the office, I had given up on a lot of things.
Fast-forward to May 2020, the pandemic has taken over the world & people are evaluating new ways of coping up with their lives or the lack of it. I started figuring out my long forgone hobbies, one out of them being blogging.
Got started with my blog, a new one with a new installation of WordPress and a new domain. Wanted to import my posts from the old WordPress.com account but alas !!! I no longer have access to it. Forgot the username as well as the email. Tried all combinations but to no avail.
Next up, I started copying my posts from the older blog to here. Though I have been successful copying most of them but yet a lot of it is remaining. Also importing the images is a challenge.
I wish WordPress had a plugin to import all the posts from a fellow WordPress blog without authentication. But that would just be called a theft.
