Hello Everyone I am here again to help you guys out with setting up windows XP, 2000 or 2003 on your Toshiba Satellite L35 S2366 notebook. As you all must be aware that this notebook has an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M chipset with ATI 450 SM bus controller, it faces many problem with the newer linux kernels .
The ATI Catalyst would not work with XP, 2000 or 2003 editions of MS-Windows. This card will only work with Radeon-Omega drivers. To get these just visit http://www.omegadrivers.net
Sound Card
Coming to the sound card, the driver is available on many driver hosting websites. Google it and you should find some good host to download. The main thing is that installing the driver itself will not work here. First you must install HD audio codec for windows and only then the driver installation will work.
WI-FI
The WI-FI card which is inbuilt is of Atheros and it currently has no support for windows XP, 2000 or 2003. So no wireless communication yet. But there is a catch, you can download the driver from here.
SM BUS
One more important driver that you will need is for the SM Bus (System Management Bus). It can be downloaded from the ATI website itself. First go to ATI website and choose your specific card driver, probably it would be the ATI Catalyst and from the Catalyst download page choose to download individual drivers. You will be directed to a new page from where you can download the SM Bus and Gart driver.
